GOONWORKS FILMS is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.  Goonworks develops and produces original material for film and television, with an eye to the international audience. The company has been awarded slate funding by Creative BC. Goonworks is an active member of The Canadian Media Producers Association. Past credits include STAINED, THE MAN WHO THAT AWAY, BIRDWATCHER and THE UNSEEN.

GEOFF REDKNAP has worked as a special effects make-up artist on shows such as “”Predator,” the two “Deadpool” films and currently “Terminator.”  Geoff moved his focus to making his own films and was accepted into The NSI’s Drama Prize Program. There he wrote and directed the short film “The Auburn Hills Breakdown.” Geoff followed this with his short “Last Christmas,” which also won several awards.

Geoff also attended the NSI’s Features First program with his script, “Hangfire.”  This project won The Jim Murphy Marketing Bursary and was a finalist in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition. Geoff wrote and directed the feature film “The Unseen” which world premiered at Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal in July 2016. The film will be released in Canada by Raven Banner and internationally by Spotlight Pictures in Summer 2018.

Geoff Redknap is represented by Zero Gravity Management.

 

KATIE WEEKLEY has produced several feature films, including "Birdwatcher" and "Stained". She recently completed the feature film "The Unseen", directed by Geoff Redknap and is currently in development on a UK/Canada television co-production.

Goonworks Films is pleased to present their new feature film, THE UNSEEN, shot in British Columbia in partnership with Telefilm Canada.

The Unseen is the story of a man who abandoned his family now risks everything to find his missing daughter, including exposing the secret that he is becoming invisible.

Starring Aden Young (Rectify, The Disappearance, The Reckoning) as Bob, Camille Sullivan (The Man in the High Castle, The Disappearance, Rookie Blue) as Darlene, Julia Sarah Stone (The Killing, Weirdos) as Eva and Ben Cotton (The Killing, Hammer) as Crisby. 

The Unseen premiered at Fantasia International Film Festival was released theatrically in Summer 2018 by Raven Banner Releasing and can be found on VOD and streaming platforms.
